This Privacy Policy explains what personal data ShipSealed collects, how we use it, and your rights. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the business.

1. What we collect

• Email address — when you join our waitlist or buy a product.
• Order information — product purchased, order ID, and country, provided to us by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Delivery details — the account (e.g. GitHub username) needed to grant you access to what you bought.
• Basic support correspondence — if you email us.

2. How we use it

• To deliver the product you purchased and grant repository/download access.
• To provide support and send product updates or important notices.
• To send occasional product news, if you joined the waitlist (you can opt out anytime).
• To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

3. Who processes your data (sub-processors)

We use trusted third parties to operate the service. Each processes only what it needs:

• Paddle.com Market Ltd — our Merchant of Record. Handles checkout, payment, invoicing, and tax. Card data is held by Paddle, not by us. See Paddle's privacy policy.
• Supabase — stores waitlist emails.
• GitHub — used to deliver source code via private repositories.
• Our email provider — to send delivery, support, and update emails.

4. Cookies and tracking

This website is static and does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our checkout provider (Paddle) may set cookies necessary to process a purchase.

5. Data retention

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal/accounting requirements. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

6. Your rights

Under Brazil's LGPD and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, email support@shipsealed.com and we will respond within the timeframes required by law.

7. International transfers

Because we and our processors operate globally, your data may be processed outside your country. We rely on our processors' safeguards for such transfers.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
